What We Collect

When you use BDSMPact, we collect only what we need to make the product work:

  • Email address — used for account access (magic link sign-in), order receipts, and optional result delivery.
  • Contract data — the roles, clauses, and content you enter when building a contract. Stored so you can edit and revisit your contracts.
  • Quiz results — your BDSM dynamic quiz answers and result type. Stored so you can share results and revisit them.
  • Kink lists — your interest ratings for activities. Stored for comparison features and PDF export.
  • Payment info — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the services you signed up for (contracts, quizzes, kink lists).
  • To send transactional emails (sign-in links, order confirmations, quiz results) via Resend.
  • To improve the product based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for profiling outside of BDSMPact.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens) and age verification. We may use basic analytics cookies to understand how people use the site. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data Retention

Your account data is kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregate data (such as total quiz completions) may be retained indefinitely.

Your Rights

You can:

  • Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Unsubscribe from any non-essential emails at any time.

Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypt data at rest, and follow standard security practices. That said, no system is perfectly secure — use the site with that understanding.
