Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about BDSMPact, contracts, the quiz, and how everything works.

BDSMPact is a tool for creating customizable BDSM relationship contracts. You and your partner(s) can define roles, boundaries, rituals, aftercare preferences, and more — then generate a beautifully formatted document that captures your shared agreements. It's built around the idea that clear communication is the foundation of healthy power exchange.

No. Contracts created on BDSMPact are symbolic and ceremonial. They are not legal documents and do not constitute enforceable agreements. They exist to facilitate communication and mark a shared commitment between consenting adults. If you need something legally binding, consult a lawyer.

Absolutely, always. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, for any reason, without consequence. A BDSMPact contract never overrides anyone's right to say no or change their mind. This is a core principle of the platform — it's stated on every contract-related page.

The builder walks you through a series of steps: choose your dynamic type (Dom/sub, Owner/pet, etc.), define the parties involved, set roles and titles, pick clauses from curated categories (rules, rituals, boundaries, aftercare, punishments), customize the wording, and then generate your finished contract. You can save, edit, and revisit it anytime.

The core contract builder and quiz are free to use. Premium features — like PDF export with custom formatting, additional clause packs, and advanced customization — are available for a small fee.

BDSMPact supports a range of dynamics including Dom/sub, Master/slave, Owner/pet, Daddy/little, Mommy/little, Rigger/rope bunny, Primal Hunter/prey, and more. Each dynamic comes with tailored clause suggestions that fit the relationship style, but you can always mix and customize.

Yes. Your contracts, quiz results, and kink lists are stored securely and are only visible to you (and anyone you explicitly choose to share them with). We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for profiling. Payment information is handled by Stripe — we never see your card number. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

The quiz is a series of scenario-based questions designed to help you figure out where you fall on the BDSM spectrum. It covers dominance, submission, service, primal instincts, nurturing dynamics, and more. At the end, you get a result type with a detailed description. It's a starting point for self-discovery, not a definitive label.

A kink list is a structured checklist of BDSM activities where you rate your interest level for each one (e.g., "want to try," "soft limit," "hard limit"). It's useful for comparing preferences with a partner and making sure you're on the same page before trying something new. You can export it as a PDF or share a link.

Not currently. BDSMPact is a digital platform — you can download your contract as a PDF and print it yourself if you want a physical copy. We may explore premium printed options in the future.
